Hearts of Romaine and Grilled Tempeh


Preheat the BBQ to medium-high heat. Clean and oil the grill.

Coat the tempeh sticks with ¼ cup of Caesar dressing and place them on the grill. Cook for 4 minutes, turning regularly.

Brush the romaine hearts with olive oil, place on the grill, and cook for 1 minute on each side. Just enough to get grill marks and infuse the lettuce with a smoky flavor. No longer.

Place the romaine hearts on plates, add the grilled tempeh, a generous amount of Caesar sauce, then finish with tomatoes and croutons.

Refrigerate: Up to 5 days
Freeze: Not recommended.
