Tempeh General Tao without frying

Preparation :

In a saucepan, place all the sauce ingredients and whisk well.

Bring to a boil, remove the saucepan from heat, and set aside.

Coat the tempeh cubes with flour.

In a large non-stick skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat and brown the tempeh on all sides for 4 minutes.

Reduce the heat to a minimum and pour the sauce over the tempeh. Let it simmer for one minute.

Serve over rice vermicelli with your favorite vegetables.

Refrigerate: 5 days

Freeze: 3 months
